HELLO LOVELY!

I'm Sanda

I’m a lifelong gardener, educator, and guide shaped by both soil and Scripture.

I grew up watching my parents work the land for a living. Later, I built gardens of my own, chasing productivity and perfection the way many of us do—until I realized that what I needed most wasn’t better systems, but rest, attentiveness, and trust.

The garden became my teacher.

Through seasons of moving, loss, rebuilding, and waiting, God used the steady rhythms of gardening to heal my nervous system, reorient my faith, and reshape how I understood obedience—not as urgency, but as attentive stewardship.

Rooted in Grace grew from that lived experience.

Why I Do This Work

I don’t teach from theory.

I teach from years of:

tending gardens through real constraints

walking with God through seasons of burnout and restoration

helping women reconnect with their bodies, their faith, and their limits

integrating spiritual formation into everyday life

My work sits at the intersection of:
faith, formation, and the garden—not as metaphor, but as practice.

🌼 Who This Is For

Rooted in Grace is for women who:

  • are faithful but weary

  • feel rushed, scattered, or disconnected

  • long for a slower, truer way to live with God

  • sense that productivity has crowded out peace

You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to be “good at gardening.”

You just need to be willing to slow down and listen.

Some fun facts about me...

I grew up around gardens long before I ever chose one.
My parents worked the land for a living, so dirt under my nails feels like home.

I bake sourdough when life feels overwhelming.
There’s something about slow fermentation and warm bread that steadies my nervous system.

I’ve started (and left behind) more gardens than I can count.
Each one taught me something different about letting go, beginning again, and trusting God with unfinished work.

I believe gardens are one of God’s gentlest classrooms.
They’ve taught me more about patience, limits, and grace than productivity ever did.

I’m happiest early in the morning, before the world wakes up.
That’s when I write, pray, and tend the quiet parts of my life.

I love practical beauty — especially when it grows slowly.
Gardens, bread, journals, and rhythms that don’t rush.
